Treatment

What We Treat

Treatment may address experiences such as:

  • Complex and developmental trauma
  • Sexual trauma
  • Relationship and attachment wounds
  • Betrayal and infidelity
  • Medical trauma
  • Traumatic grief and loss
  • Childhood emotional neglect
  • Caregiver trauma
  • Shame and negative self-beliefs
  • Anxiety connected to adverse experiences
  • Difficult family-of-origin experiences

You do not need to have PTSD—or even identify what happened to you as “trauma”—to explore whether unresolved experiences are affecting you today.

Specialized Treatment. Thoughtfully Paced.

KA-EMDR is not about taking ketamine and hoping something therapeutic happens.

Treatment is structured and individualized.

It begins with comprehensive assessment and preparation.

Together, we identify what you want to change, understand the experiences contributing to current patterns, strengthen your capacity to remain present during difficult emotional material, and develop an individualized EMDR treatment plan.

Ketamine may then be incorporated into selected processing sessions when both medically and clinically appropriate.

Processing is followed by integration and continued reassessment.

Because meaningful trauma treatment isn't about going as deep as possible, as quickly as possible.

It's about knowing what to process, when to process it, and how to help you remain safely connected to the present while doing so.

You Don't Have to Know Whether KA-EMDR Is Right for You.

That's what the consultation is for.

We'll talk briefly about what you're experiencing, what you've already tried, what you hope will change, and whether EMDR, KA-EMDR, or another treatment approach may be appropriate.
