KA-EMDR
Trauma Therapy Beyond Talking
Our practice specializes in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR (KA-EMDR) for adults experiencing the ongoing effects of trauma, attachment wounds, relationship injuries, loss, and other adverse life experiences.
KA-EMDR integrates EMDR therapy with carefully prescribed, low-dose ketamine during selected trauma-processing sessions when medically and clinically appropriate.
The intention isn't to escape from your experience.
It's to create conditions that may help you approach, access, and process it differently.
Specialized Treatment. Thoughtfully Paced.
KA-EMDR is not about taking ketamine and hoping something therapeutic happens.
Treatment is structured and individualized.
It begins with comprehensive assessment and preparation.
Together, we identify what you want to change, understand the experiences contributing to current patterns, strengthen your capacity to remain present during difficult emotional material, and develop an individualized EMDR treatment plan.
Ketamine may then be incorporated into selected processing sessions when both medically and clinically appropriate.
Processing is followed by integration and continued reassessment.

Because meaningful trauma treatment isn't about going as deep as possible, as quickly as possible.
It's about knowing what to process, when to process it, and how to help you remain safely connected to the present while doing so.
The goal isn't to forget what happened.
You may always remember what happened.
But remembering an experience and reliving its emotional impact are very different things.
The goal of trauma processing isn't to erase your history.
It's to help what happened become something you can remember without it continuing to define how you experience yourself, your relationships, or your life today.
Helping the past feel like the past.
